    Getting TO/AROUND: in the department of efficiency, berlin trumps all of europe! their lights turn off if you have left the room and have not returned for a while. their food is served so you can eat it on the go. the street signs are legible and direct. the traffic flows like a school of fish. the transportation is the most efficient and it reaches the outskirts of the city in all directions. so, bring your metro map and fear not! once you get used to the maze of underground tunnels for each particular train and destination, you will find an entire metropolis awaiting your discovery.
