A great stop on our trip and we wish we could have stayed longer. Palio horse race was going on during the days we were there which was really something to see! You can see the crowds amassing in the central plaza for the Palio trials. This photo was taken from the top of the unfinished extension (converted toto a very worthwhile museum) to the Siena Duomo. |
