Climb the Stairs to the Big Buddha Lantau Island Review

Also known as "Tian Tan Buddha", it is the tallest outdoor bronze Buddha statue in the world.

The main attraction for us, aside from seeing the serene statue, is climbing its 268 steps from the foot up to the lotus base.

My father, upon seeing how far the statue is, initially said he could not do it. Eventually, he tried and was hugely rewarded with a great view! All because he saw many old Chinese tourists climbing the stairs...if they could do it why couldn't he?

Ride the Cable Car Ocean Park Review

My favorite activity at Ocean Park aside from the Aquarium.

Riding the Cable Car here is a nice experience for us (our first time) and it led to another cable car ride in Macau.

The views are wonderful...you can see a great part of HK from above.

Avenue of the Stars

Nice view here...a good place to have a stroll and see the harbor. Of course, the hand prints of HK's famous stars are a novelty.
