A coast-city very close to vacation-paradise Rimini who hardly got their chance to put their name on the football-map by going up in the Serie A until they were forced away again, relegated into Serie D.
The city itself is probably more nice than the story of the football-team. Also given the fact that I had my worst trip ever there, being stuck out in nowhere (that’s where they have put their stadium… argh…) at half past twelve in the night, without any other vehicle than my shoes.
Otherwise I found Ancona to be a very nice and calm city, but with no McDonalds in sight…!? How do people survive there…?? |
