Byron Bay: Really a great place!
Sun shines, young people, cool sea...and fantastic waves for surfing.
It is a little village on the Australian east cost and it is also the most easterly point in the Australian mainland.

There is a lighthouse that signs this point and from where you can have really amazing views (especially at dawn when you see the sun coming up from the pacific ocean).
It is populated mostly by young people who stop here for some days in one of the many hostels in byron.
The beach is wonderful!

Great pages from Byron Bay... We had a good time there too, though it rained during the day. Safe travels from the travelling Canadians!
