Nature and scycrapers

Opera house and Harbour bridge
When Captain Cook on the 30th april of 1770 arrived in a harbour situated on the southeast coast of what today is called Australia he decided to give it the name of Botany Bay after the large variety of plants he could discover in this region. He spent here some time and after few days he departed to north with his ship, the "Endeavour", and his men.
He never could have tought that in the place he discovered (as European ) would have rised up one of the most beautyful cities in the world:Sydney.

What surprised me of Sydney is to see how a modern city, plenty of scycrapers and cool buildings, can perfectly coexist with a wonderful natural scenary.

The city with its wonderful scycrapers, the botanic gardens just at the feet of them, the old neighbourhood of "the rocks", Circular Quay, the Romantic "Darling Harbour", the cool "Bondi beach" and "Manly"; the "Pitt street mall", the red light district of "Kings Cross" and...finally...the symbols of the city: The "Opera House" and "Harbour Bridge".
All this is Sydney and much more...at every corner it will seem to live in a dream...a dream from where you would never want to wake up.
