Fremantle Cafe Strip

Fremantle is a seaport about half an hour south of the Perth CBD. It is a city within its own right. I've lived here for the past four years and love it!

Fremantle has a reputation for being a bit of a hippy/alternative area. It has a vibrant cafe strip and arts scene, lots of funky shopping, and several great beaches. It's a great place to relax and immerse yourself in the local culture.

Getting There...

From the Airport

By Car: Turn left (East) onto Tonkin Highway, then right onto Leach Highway, which goes through to the Freo City Centre.

By Public Transport: Bus 37(Dv) runs from the Domestic Airport. Get off at Victoria Park and catch Bus 106 to Fremantle station.

From Perth CBD:

By Car: Follow Stirling Highway through to Fremantle OR take the Kwinana Freeway (aka Freeway South) and turn West onto Leach Highway or South Street.

By Public Transport: Take the Fremantle line train to Fremantle station. Bus 106 goes from the City Busport to Fremantle station, but the train is much quicker and more scenic.
