It is an amazing experience to be able to walk where Anne Frank and her family walked and hid during that troubled time. There are wonderful displays, and many fixtures in the building are original. The tour is incredibly informative, and a must-see-even for people who don't know anything about the history of it or the life of Anne Frank, because you learn as you go through the presentation.

There is such a huge collection of VanGogh's work in this museum, you could spend a day here. The building is beautiful, the surrounding area is stunning, and museum is very appealing and informative.

Unfortunately, I took this boat tour at night, so only 1 or 2 of my photos actually turned out. It was stunning to see the lights of the city, but I cannot share that experience with you through pictures. If I had the chance, I would go back and do this during the day as well. I highly recommend it. The tour guide is very informative, and I believe there are more than one boat tours to choose from! Met some great people from other countries on the tour!

This museum is overflowing with history. I spent an entire day at this museum, and it is well known the world over. I would highly recommend checking out all the exhibits this place has to offer. Not only is it a great learning experience, it is a very beautiful and peaceful environment.

This part of the city is incredibly beautiful. This is the location of the hostel I stayed at. I also took one of the boat tours in one of the boats seen in this picture. Please see my other tips for more information! :)

codrutz Fri Aug 20, 2004 10:24 UTC I visited Amsterdam in June this year. I could not take the boat trip by night, as I stayed in Zandaam (outside Amsterdam). Did you see the whole Rijksmuseum or just the Masterpiece collection? | JetlagCity Thu Jun 24, 2004 16:46 UTC How wonderful to stay at a place right in Vondelpark! |
