Sea of Bicycles! | Outside the Train Station |
I thought this was a great opportunity to show you guys who haven't been to Holland just how many people use bicycles as their primary mode of transportation! I think it's absolutely wonderful! Very healthy, keeps people active...and also good for the environment.
I was also told by someone raised near Groningen that many children biked to school instead of taking a bus. Interesting tidbit.
Unfortunately, Eindhoven was just a stop over for me (and my only stay at a hotel my entire Europe trip), so I didn't get to many places... |
