Berlin is full of rich history Berlin was great! I didn't have a lot of time to spend there.....a few days. There is so much to see. So much beautiful architecture, historical buildings, a beautiful old school, great transit, great nightlife.
The picture above is of the Memorial Church, which has been left in its' bombed state following the war. The new Tower, which is covered in stained glass from ground to roof, is a reminder of the past which means "Never Again".... |
|  | Berlin Bear & I I call these the Berlin Bears, I'm not quite sure of their real name. They are placed all over the city. I didn't count how many there were, sorry! hehe. We have something similar in Toronto - but Moose. If anyone looking at this site can tell me when and why the bears are all over the city, that would be great! |
| | Ritzy Hotel Adlon Of course we couldn't spend a night there, but it was still exciting to walk by and get a picture with the attendant in it. Very Nice costume. |
