"More than the city of four musicians " a Bremen Travel Page by actualtourist

I knew Bremen from the Grimm Brothers’ tale of four musicans. Yes, the tale of the donkey, dog, cat and rooster is a big part of tourism there, but there’s a lot more in this nice, charming city. Bremen (and Bremerhaven) is one of the only three city states (the others are Berlin and Hamburg) and people seem to be VERY proud of its independence--well, at least my Bremer friend is. Besides the old town, there are nice places to walk around along the river Weser and lots of green areas.
