I went to Crete with my mom. Mainly to sunbath and relax. It was a great trip to take right after I was finish with my exames. Just lying in the sun all day and eat good food in the evening. One of my favorite is Greek salad. It is Tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, oliven, oliven oil and feta cheese. Great starter or just a light lunch! Chania is a beautiful town with small white houses and narrow streets. Really cozy! On the harbour you have plenty of restaurants to choose from, and while you eat you can enjoy the beautiful wiew of the sunset. If you want some more quite places to eat you can find it in the small streets in the old town. Becauce the harbour is filled with tourists. Chania also have a lots of shops, but the prices isn't low. Leather and shoes is probably the only things you can bay cheap. You will also find a markethall in Chania. Her you can bay everything from rabbit to souvernies. If you want to see the town in a different way, or if you just are to tired to walk, you can take a horsetaxi. Crete is a great island, with much more than sun and warm water to offer you! |
