One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster

by Rojo72 - last update: May 23, 2004

The view from Mathias' apartment
I went to Bangkok in april 2002 to visit my good friends Mathias who then worked there. During my days in Bangkok I stayed in Mathias apartment on a Soi at Sukhumvit 80 or something.

It was the first time ever I was out of Europe and I would do it again any day!

Unfortunately I could only stay in Thailand for two weeks, I would have loved to stay at least a week longer!

Thanks for the helpful forum. We are in Bangkok in November, last night is a Monday and would like to go to a Thai boxing match. Can we get to the stadium by skytrain ? would you advise buying tickets on line before we go if I can ? Thanks Joy

Very interesting reading. I'm not a big fan of snakes, but I'd love to see the largest Buddha statute. As for SF, well, no page is ever completely finished. :)
