When in France, try to act as French as possible for the best service and interaction with French people. A little effort with speaking French and a nice smile will get you far. The French don't find American accents as cute as others abroad do : )

I loved Paris as well. We went there a year ago with our Egyptian friend Bahaa. The Louvre was to much for just one day. I exhausted me. I could only grasp one floor of the Egyptian exhibition... | CALSF Sun Feb 6, 2005 20:22 UTC
