Restaurant Name: CARMINE'S
We were lucky enough to meet up with some people we'd met on the Internet and had a fabulous evening here. The place can get very busy and noisy, but I think that adds to the atmosphere. Lovely cocktails, service was great, and the food brilliant.
Favorite Dish: As I've only been once, I don't have a favourite, but we had Calimari to start and then a pasta dish which was lovely. The portions are HUGE which is why it's advisable to go in a group of 6 or more.

Restaurant Name: The Boathouse
I've wanted to go here ever since I saw it in When Harry Met Sally. Our Big Apple Greeter who was taking us around the park, joined us for brunch on a Saturday morning. It's fantastic. We were lucky enough to get a table on the front of the deck, the service was great, and the food lovely. Turtles were swimming right up to the edge of the decking.I would love to be able to go back here again.
Favorite Dish: Again, as it was my first visit, no favourite yet, but there were 4 of us and each of us enjoyed the meal we had.

Restaurant Name: Arties
We popped into Arties for a quick bite, and ended up staying a while! The staff were really welcoming, and the menu very extensive. The waitress had to explain a few items to us! They have a sort of "outside/inside" area, where the windows can be opened right back, and you can sit and watch the world go by. They do special catering...one of which is entitled "My Son's Becoming A Doctor Party". These people definitely have a sense of humour. A very fun place.
Favorite Dish: I shared a Jewish Chef Salad with my sister, and yet we still couldn't finish it between us. Beware..the portions are HUGE

Café Lalo: Where''s Tom Hanks ???????????

Restaurant Name: Café Lalo
This is the most beautiful European style cafe. If you have ever seen the film "You've Got Mail". you'll recognise it all lit up, but the menu is very good and it's well worth a visit, even if only for a coffee. it gets very busy on an evening, and noisy, but we went at breakfast time one day, and it was much quieter.
Favorite Dish: The pastries are gorgeous!
