Madrid

Sunshine on this day...

Now e'one who thinks of Spain thinks of beaches, palms, beaches and maybe beaches. At least where I am coming from. Since Madrid is not at the seaside, it's got still a lot to offer. From various art gallerys for art-nuts like-me to a highly lively nightscene, there is something for anyone.
There was this nice lake in a park we found, where you can take a boat ride or just sit and enjoy hopefully good weather....

Groningen is a lovely city just 30 km from the border to Germany. Enjoy your brilliant shopping-trip to here.

Unfortunately we got cheated by our travel company, who was praising this trip for Groningen's x-mas market. Well, we didn't find it, so we went to the tourist information, asking....there is no x-mas market!!

Anyways, shopping was nice and Groningen a very beautiful city. It is probably a good idea to go in summer time, because of the hugeness of flowers. Even now it was amazing to view, f.e. 60 roses for 5 Euros.
