Groningen-quick step from Germany | Some "Gracht"-not only in Amsterdam |
Groningen is a lovely city just 30 km from the border to Germany. Enjoy your brilliant shopping-trip to here.
Unfortunately we got cheated by our travel company, who was praising this trip for Groningen's x-mas market. Well, we didn't find it, so we went to the tourist information, asking....there is no x-mas market!!
Anyways, shopping was nice and Groningen a very beautiful city. It is probably a good idea to go in summer time, because of the hugeness of flowers. Even now it was amazing to view, f.e. 60 roses for 5 Euros. |
