Principe is a tiny, beautiful, friendly speck in the Gulf of Guinea. Its a real *** to get to. The easiest way is to hire a plane. Also the most expensive.

Great beaches, wonderful faded cocoa plantations. The peaks in the centre of the island seem to be continually shrouded in mist.
