"Must have been nice a long time ago" Cap-Haïtien by dunearn20

Cap-Haïtien Travel Guide: 18 reviews and 17 photos

Cap is on the north coast of Haiti, close to the Dominican Republic. Not far are nice beaches.

This is one of the central crossroads in Cap, less traffic than in PaP as it is much smaller and also much "slower" and live is more agreable.

Dirt and rubbish wherever you look
This town must have been so beautiful, but now it is just a big rubbish dump. Even the fruit and vegetable market is extremely dirty.

Great photos. with such a high unemployment rate why don't the people take it upon themselves to build their own landfill? Didn't you stand out as a victum because of your color?
