Bangkok's Safari's World is located at least over an hour's drive from the City. On this trip, we went by car which made the journey a bit shorter as Thor, our friendly driver, weaved in and out of the congested traffic to reach there on time. For what, my friends?
Of course, the Orang Utan Show, a show staged by orang utans in full boxing gear. As a pretty vivacious Orang Utan walked around the ring with a sign to say ` Round One', the bell rang and the fighters jumped into the ring. With a ferocity seen only when Muhd Ali fought Joe Frazier in the World Heavyweight Boxing Bout, we watched the two fighting Orang Utans swinged, blocked, tapped and oh, oh, fell, all with little help from the referee.
Soon it was the fourth and final round. A new Champion emerged to the great applause of the huge crowd..
Next, we proceeded to watch the Cowboy Show. Like all cowboy shows, the like of John Wayne out-shot the bad guys ending with the loud collapse of the town's facade. Luckily, everyone were safe, including those who were shot !!!.
The highlight of the tour was the wildlife enclave where animals such as tigers, lions, and bears roamed wild. Definitely it was very dangerous...what if the tigers wanted to shake your hand? Or the bears feeling heaty rushed to give you a good hug. No fear, there were Zoo Wardens safe in their jeeps close by. Whenever there was any danger, they will use their guns, I suppose...
All in, I say it was a good one day trip out of Bangkok with buffet lunch provided...
