"Treasure Beach" a Jamaica Travel Page by m.air

I don't know what's taken so long for me to fill in this information. Partly I assume, thinking about Jamaica only makes me want to go there all the more.

This twisted tree is located just next to the beach in Great Bay, by Viking's house, Ital Rest and Irie Cabins. During those extra hot days, it was the coolest spot to hang out with a book, or just stare out into the ocean while the constant Caribbean breeze caresses ones body.

You wont find the white sandy beaches as seen on TV at this end of Jamaica. What you will find is much more fun - coral. Miles of it. It's so much fun to explore it. Just be sure to wear some sort of foot covering as it is very sharp on bare feet. Don't worry, Treasure beach isn't sandless - there is still plenty of beach to lay in the sun on. :o)

During my trip in 04, I took some friends along with me. This is not something that I would normally do because when I get to Jamaica, I'm selfish. I don't want to worry about what other people want to do, or how they are feeling, I just want to relax and be with myself and perhaps a few Jamaicans. This year though, bringing people with me provided some entertainment. :o) It was good to have 'em around.
