As this was my first trip outside of the United States, it was something of a shock to find a male attendant in the ladies restroom at the airport in Paris. I knew then that the adventure was just beginning. Trying not to look too much like a tourist I set out to see Paris. We stayed in the St. Germain area and did really well walking almost everywhere. We took a couple of minibus tours that our hotel arranged and took a cab once in town.
