Oakville is a great town to call home. It's close to the major urban centre of Toronto but has much less air and noise pollution and a decidedly laid back feel. Downtown Oakville is full of quaint shops, restaurants, cafes, and pubs. But make no mistake - this is not Toronto. While the people are generally friendly, you will get bored. Downtown Toronto is a short GO Transit ride away.
