Introduction

Back in 1980, we honeymooned on Grand Bahama and liked it so much we bought a timeshare in Freeport. Since then, we've spent a couple weeks here at least every other year. We've been to the casinos, beaches, tours, bars, hospitals, attractions and even the churches.

We know the best away-from-it-all places on the island. It IS possible to have a quiet (but fun) getaway in this extended suburb of Miami.
