The Queen City.

I wish I could say that Cincinnati was the most fun city on the planet, it isn't. But, there are still a lot of cool things to do there. I have mixed feelings about the city. There are some truly wonderful things about the city. Yet the conservative nature, and a few troubling things to occur there in recent memory have left a scar in my mind on what was once the place I went on my weekends to have fun.

Don't let this discourage you from visiting the city by any means. For one thing, the past troubles are helping to bring the city together and make it better. And also, there are some really great things to see and experience in Cincinnati.

Pros and Cons

Pros:A very good place to have fun.
Cons:Riots, corruption, and overly conservative attitudes still prevail.
In a nutshell:A nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

The reason we in Cincinnati say "please" insted of "what was that" is because we were settled by Germans who say "bitte".

I just visited Cinci. for the first time. Had a decent time in general, but I have to admit, that never in my life have I been so vocal behind the wheel of an automobile. You Cinci. natives are insane!

I think PKI is overhyped, too, & LOVE the Museum Ctr! Thanks for the tip on Pizza Tower. I think Through the Garden is a hidden gem – one of my fave restos! I used to work just 2 minutes away & I loved the Decent Deli. I’m a Raiders fan myself. :)

Hello! the "please" thing cracked me up! I'm a cincy native and I say it all the time, I never realized we were the only city to use it in that context! How funny! Good tips as well!

Hi Kevin. Excellent tips on our town. We agree with you on King's Island being too crowded, love Jungle Jims, and will have to try talking into the fountain at the Museum Center next time there.
