Japser National Park is the largest Rocky Mountain park with 11,228 square km in size. Jasper townsite is 287 km north of Banff, or 232 km north of Lake Louise. The drive from Lake Louise to Jasper via the Icefields Parkway is considered one of the most spectacular in the world.

If you have limited time (like me) to explore this amazing park, you should at least visit these two places: Icefields Center and Maligne Lake.
