Germany is a large , diverse and beautiful Country, having traveled from North to South, East to West, the place I always settle for, and have been visiting for well over twenty years now, is a small village called, Munstertal, hence my VT name. It is tucked away in a quiet spot in the Southern tip of the Black Forest, not too far from Switzerland and bordering on France, so this gives plenty of scope for visits to various places.
So here are some of the other places I've visited in Germany, if you wish to take a look.
Treir Mosel Staufen |
| | Munstertal Munstertal is tucked away in the Munster Valley, which is some 30km, south of Freiburg. It is the gateway to Belchen, which is the highest point in the Black Forest.
There are mile's of walks and plenty of cycle paths, there's much to see in this beautiful quite part of Germany, from Spas to Mountains. Take in the fresh clean air, walk the long paths that go for ever.
In winter this becomes a ski resort, for all standards.
The local railway line runs along side the campsite and stops close to the entrance .From here you can go to near bye Staufen ,Bad Krozingen and onto Freiburg and Basel, Switzerland. |
