The ancient city of Tarragona is just a few miles South of Barcelona and often passed overlooked because of it's more illustrious neighbour, sits on a hill close to the Mediterranean sea. It has the most important port in Spain.
At one time it was one of the most important cities on the Mediterranean.
It has many Roman remains of great Archaeological interest.
Walk down the side streets and discover the old building, visit the Cathedral and the Amphitheatre or just take a stroll down the Ramblas

    Nice photos of Tarragona. It's a town I have only visited once, briefly, and have always been meaning to return to.

    You will not belive me, but I have never been there! ops :( It is an area that I am willing to discover (only been in Barcelona, and the worste thing is that my cousin has an apartment nearby! )
