A River Runs Through It

City of Angel

Chao Praya River and Wat Arun
Bangkok is the name that most people know. Thai people call it 'Krungtep'. It is the short for the official name of Bangkok, which is recorded in Guiness Book World of Record as the longest city name in the world. It is so long that there is a song made up solely using the full name of the city. I have not heard of the song, but it would be interesting to hear it. Bangkok is a big city. If you appreciate Thai architecture, Bangkok has plenty to keep you occupied. If you like shopping, I hope you have enough time and money (or credit card) to spend them here. If you like spicy food, you will love what Bangkok has to offer. So much to do, so little time. Everytime I go to Bangkok, I always find new places to visit. I never get disappointed. I hope you won't too.
