Kota Kinabalu - Small City, Big Blue Sky!

by travelpug - last update: Nov 4, 2007

So much to offer!

Kota Kinabalu (KK) is such a blessed place! It has wonderful islands off the coast, majestic mountain ranges at the back, warm and friendly people on its land. Such a wonderful place to be! The city is small by a city's standard. It is a good stopover before you proceed to more exciting places. KK is the place where you stay down to earth.

Swordfish

One of the symbols of Kota Kinabalu. I'm sure it is on many tourists memories of KK.

Small and quiet city

City of KK viewed from the hill at Atkinson Clock Tower. The city looks pretty flat.

Well, those children were definately not local, most of them should b of Philippines or Indonesia nationals. Bside nature, Sabah is also famous for its uncontrollabe illegal immigrants. Most of d crimes were actually done by them too, sad but true.
