Hi, My name is Brock and I've been traveling since I finished college. After being born and raised in the South, I moved to South Dakota after college to take my first job. That was a bit cold, so I moved to Italy. Once in Italy, I traveled through out Europe and loved it. My current job finds me in Qatar and enjoying a simple life in the desert. You'll have to bare with me because I only recently bought a digital camera, so my page may be a little light on the pictures until I do some more traveling. |
| Dining Room in Castle in Tuscany |
| | I'm an American trapped in Brit-Italian mix I confess that I love both Italy and the UK. Italy for their wine, women and food in that order. The UK because of their endless pubs, beer, and rugby (and women, sorry Rhondaj!). I once found myself at a pub along the river Cam in Cambridge drinking a pint of Newcastle, eating some fish and chips and watching a rugby game on a big screen. At that point I knew happiness. I played rugby in college and we Americans just don't embrace it like we should. It is truly the best sport in the world. Which is why I'm going to try to make it to Twickenham for at least one of the Six Nations games this year. The ticket prices are outrageous, but this is a once in a lifetime thing. I'm hoping to get some college friends together to make it a weekend of mass liver destruction. We'll see. |
| You guessed! A castle in Tuscany |
| | My present Well, I'll be out here for at least another year. This is good because I'm right in the middle between the Far East and Europe. I'm hitting the States again in July to run my first marathon. I'm nervous just thinking about it. The marathon is in Boone, Northa Carolina and I'll be sure to take lots of pictures. After that I don't know where I'll be going. Bangkok is a definite possibility. As I said earlier, a Six Nations match is definitely in my future. I'd love to see England v. France, but they're charging like 400 quid for the cheap seats! Oh well, you only live once. I hope you find these pages somewhat entertaining. I'll try to update frequently. Take care! |
| Dad and his favorite child |
| | My Pops My Dad got his favorite child, Jacquline, four years ago. She has quickly risen up the ranks to replace his three sons as his favorite child. I figured she deserved a spot on this page for this feat. Here's a picture of my Dad and his one and only. |
