La Jolla - The Jewel - So true. Just a 15 minute drive up the coast from San Diego is the beauiful city of La Jolla (pronc jla hoya). La Jolla is a spanish word meaning 'The Jewel' - and that it is.
The city has exclusive shops, affulant rsidents (Rock Star Phil Collen of Def Lepard, used to live here) La Jolla is a wonderful place to visit or stay.
There is a Hard Rock Cafe with all the usual memorbilia, and you can take a walk along the small peir and watch the seals in their natural enviroment. Parking places are a bit of a problem but if you ... you will find ! |
