I've been visiting Chattanooga for years and it seems to get slowly better every time I visit. The city is most famous for Ruby Falls and Rock City but there is so much more to offer.
Located about two hours north of Atlanta, Chattanooga serves as a getaway for many Atlantans. The primary draw was the Tennessee Aquarium although that may change with the new Georgia Aquarium opening soon.
The Downtown area of Chattanooga is centered on the Aquarium with museums and restaurants all within walking distance. Away from downtown are Lookout Mountain with Ruby Falls, Point Park, Rock City, and the Incline Railroad. |

mccorma Fri Oct 15, 2004 02:31 UTC Agree - great food-- but the night we were there, the hostesses amazingly ran out of pagers. Their backup plan was to tell people to "keep checking with us". Told us 35 min. but it was over an hour. Need a better way!! |
