Porto is maybe one of the portugese towns I like the most. The river-area was really nice, even if hopefully the bear-price will have gotten down a bit when I get back next time... :)
Before I got there I was warned by other friends that Porto would be the Napoli of Portugal. And that wouldn't be a good thing according to them.
I haven't been to Napoli, but I'll have to say that i was quite impressed by Porto. It was kind of charming to see the clothes hanging outside the housewalls, and the only bad thing was maybe that it for a while looked impossible to find the river-area...
Not too much text here unfortunately, we spent some time in Porto, but mostly laid it on football-games, the river-area and finding a internet-café. We actually asked a taxidriver to take us to one, and we ended up at place where you could wash your clothes... :) |
