Ciao! And welcome to my part of the VT-world!

An announcement to all my VT friends out there. This page is excellent for research ahead of a trip, or just to dream about future trips to countries and places far far away.

But it's sometimes also a possibility that it can be something more. 3,5 years ago I met Herny through Virtualtourist. And what started with a short e-mail from my side has now gone all the way into engagement.
The 29th of November I proposed to her here in Singapore, and we're now engaged, with marriage coming up shortly.

So thanks VT, and thanks Collin who brought us together!

A while ago I read an article about people who said they were travelholic. Not sure if that is something that really exist, but if so - I think I'm one...?

I just love travelling, seeing both new and old places. The last years has brought me to the southeast Asia, as I've met a wonderful and fantastic girlfriend in Singapore. With her I've then explored both Singapore and places around there, and I'm soon off there again. Sooner than later we'll move in together, we'll just see if it will be in Singapore or Sweden.

Interested of football?

My main interest in life is football, so therefore I've created another VT-footballpage just about that beautiful sport. This said and done, because I know that not all people on this world have the same interest as I do...

So, if you want to read more about churches, boattrips, restaurants, discoteques and more like that; keep on reading at this site.

If you want to know more about why Stadio Dell'Ara in Bologna has got that name, or which club that has the best or most violent supporters, where to buy tickets for Milan-games or other things like that - just follow the link above.

Unfortunately I have less and less time to update this page, and so the football page is even far more behind. With some luck I'll find a way to have more than 24 hours per day, but until then you might still be able to find some useable info in the tips I've already written.

Here will be a lot of texts and advices about sightseeing, partying, sports and where you can have a nice day. And also where you might have the opposite.

Back again from Singapore since a few weeks, so now I'm home saving some money for 2012.

Off to Singapore to my beautiful fiancée again in March - I can't wait!
Also have a short trip booked to London in the same month to see Arsenal-Milan.
Then Herny comes to Sweden in April-May and we'll have two great weeks together.
Off to Kiev and Ukraine for the Euro 2012 in June, and then two short trips to London for the Olympics in July.
Then we'll see... :)

Me while living in Milan in 2003.

I'm a swedish guy. I've lived in Milano, Italy, for almost two years, but since May 2004 I'm back in Sweden.

I work as a sport journalist, and strange enough I also spend most of my time and travels to do or see sport. I love football (soccer) and went to see 1-4 games every week in Italy.

When I'm not working, or going to football games, I relax, stay with my friends, talk with my girlfriend or plan the next trip.

At least half of my trips are football related. With my brothers I've been going to the Euro 2000, Euro 2004, Euro 2008, the World Cup 2006 and the Confederations Cup the year before. To cheer and celebrate Sweden's victories (well, there are a few at least...) is great, and it also gives me opportunities to see places I never seen before, or probably never would see either.

The last two years following Sweden has brought me to places like Liechtenstein, Albania, Northern Ireland, Switzerland, Portugal, Austria, Hungary and Malta.

The last years have been fantastic seen from a travel point of view, with me being away from home more often than not.
