If you drive north on Inwood Rd., just a couple before Belt Line Rd., you'll see a string of alcohol outlets on your left. These are known as the "Addison Beverage Center", and they make a lot of money because Dallas is a Dry City (http://www.texassafetynetwork.org/issues/wet_dry/faq/index.php).
