Is it still as magical...

When I was little growing up in landlocked Minnesota, thousands of miles from any ocean my friend and I would lay on a sheet on the floor in my bedroom wearing bathing suits and pretend to be somewhere else... we didn´t know where this place was, but it was on the REAL OCEAN, not just a lake.
It would have exotic hippies selling stuff in the streets.. There would be places open all night, and everyone would speak English, but of course with an accent... and speak a mystery language when not speaking English...
Well, at the age of 20 we found the place that we used to go on (vacation)... such a place existed, and it was called Lagos.

Pros and Cons

Pros:a dreamland
Cons:drunk tourist lolling up and down the streets at night screaming and singing.
In a nutshell:Where I used to imagine I would go on vacation.
