Buenos Aires is a very cosmopolitan city, with large avenues and a very good nightlife.
It?s really affordable as well, since the economy crashed.
They only annoying thing were these tango dancers who told you the price even before taking the picture.
I stayed in the hostel Inn in San Telmo, the antique-neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. On Sunday's there's an antique market, too. And, of course, the annoying tango-dancers who want to be photographed for a fixed price.
On the way to La Boca (famous for Maradona)
I saw a more decadent side of the cosmopolitan capital. Passing by here I was glad that I wasn't alone, though poor Argentinians are known to be less violent than Brazilians.
Though there are more and more dangerous places in Buenos Aires, even San Telmo had a shooting when I was there.. So take care!
