Wonderfully interesting page, with really good photo's! I wish I could have seen this, but it was a day of strikes in Rome, so missed out!

Great opening photo! Actually, fantastic photos overall. Reading your page is a far more pleasant experience than visiting the Vatican with the crowds of tourists!!!!

Yes, I think I should go :-) Even if it will be crowded. And have to climb the cupola, the views look indeed magic. Love the 3D effect of the mosaic angel (at the cupola inside tip). Oh, and St. Ubaldo is among the 144 statues, did you know that?
