On a clear day you can see the CN tower from Japan. Ok, not that far away, let's say Hamilton! Yeah, that's better.
The CN Tower is this huge tower in downtown toronto on which you can ride an elevator up to and see the horizon for miles and miles around you. It's really cool at night too, when the city is all lite up - or to watch the night traffic coming in and out of the city along the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Highway also called the Gardiner Expressway when downtown).
There is a restaurant on the second observation deck called the 360. I think it's overpriced, but some people like it.
The cost to go up the tower is around 15 canadian dollars.
