So far, sooooo far. So far away.

by Bela_LUng - last update: Dec 10, 2005

So the title is a bit odd...

I was listenning to Air 's Universal Traveler when I was writing this, so I just wrote down the lyrics as I heard them. And well, they work.

New York City is composed of people from so far away. They come to New York to live and to coexist in this crazy hodge podge of cultures. I find New York and Montreal, where I was born, to be similar in that fashion , Many different languagues, cultures, and styles of life.

New York City is a city to experience and I suggest you do it at your own pace.Set your own agenda and experience life as a New Yorker, even if only for a minute.

Living it.

I got the chance to work in NYC for 2 months as a male model. No kidding. I am so sexy...hhahaha. Ok, it was for my mad unix skillz. But whatever. I tell people it was male modelling....

I lived on the Upper West Side (boooooring) and while some VT'er said the Upper West Side rocked for night life, I think that person must of been doing too much coke. The UWS is BOOOORING. It's more residential. Nightlife lives elsewhere :)

Now that I am back home, I am soooo jonesing for cars honking and going to my fav noho bars for a beer with the frathouse crew. Sniff. I want to go back :)

Pros:"Culture, life, people, beer!"
Cons:"Crime in some areas, leaving"
In A Nutshell:"Existing is fun. I like it a lot! WOOT!"
