I went to Poland wanting to drink beer, eat good food, and relax. I got two of three, so that was fine. I am still amazed at all the "Eastern Europe has great food" crap I read. I tried in 3 different countries and left starving. Luckily I made up for it in drink ;) |

|  | Drinking Ah, nothing better then a nice pint or 20 billion of Zwiec (I am told you say like a french beyotch - which I am - something sounding like "jevitz"). Or trying some local vodka from the local licquor stores.
There was a great selection of flavored vodkas (green apple was by far the most kick-ass and problematic - I couldn't stop drinking the damn stuff) to chose from. So of course I did. Here
and there and mostly on long train rides! |

| | Eating Nope. Sorry. Don't get it. Maybe I hit all the wrong places, with tourista menu's and such, but I cannot say I had a delicious meal in Poland. I wanted some crazy ***. Some sausage from hell, some perogies full of chaos. Nope. I got plain boring over-priced food. I even stooped as low to having a steak! I'm not saying all food in Poland sucks, but damn, it's not easy to find IMO. |
