Brasil Travel Guide: 12 reviews and 81 photos

This is probably the time in Brazil that have given me the strongest impression of all, of the one month I spent there.

Even though Im not into football at all, I was moved indeed by The World Cup in 2002.
If you go to Brazil youll soon find that football is everything! EVERYTHING!
Every time the is an important football everything closes down till its over and everyone wear green and yellow - even animals.

I was luckey to watch the whole game in a local environment, with a good Brazilian friend and his family. Everybody gathered and brought food for this special event. Afterwards there was dancing and joy through the streets of Juiz de Fora.

So, next time - BE THERE!

My journey through Brazil started from Manaus/Amazone Jungle to....
- Salvador de Bahia
- Rio
- Ihla Grande
- Back to Rio
- Petropolis
- Juiz de Fora
- Ouro Preto
- Mariana
- Parati
- Sao Paulo
- Foz do iguacu
(after visiting the northern part of Argentina and southern of Bolivia I came back)
- Pantanal
- Parati, again.
- Sao Paulo.

BRAZIL, I love the language, the exotic juices, the music (Djavan, Jorge Vercilo, Marisa Monte, Ed Motta, and anything afro-brasilian, samba, bossa nova and MPB!), the dancing and happy people!
