Getting TO/AROUND: when you ask a direction to someone in the street, try to write the name of the street you are looking for on a paper. Don't try to say it, because most of the time the way tourists pronounce the name of the streets is not understandable for French people. And if you have a map with you, it will be even easier to explain to you where you are and the right way to your destination. In addition, with this map people will immediately understand what you need, and they will not be suspicious (which is one the characteristic of Parisian people).

love2eatfancyplaces Mon Jan 12, 2009 10:19 UTC Mostly who just passed by in the front of Fouquet's they thought the same as you . Don't judge the book by it's cover bcoz when it comes to food and service Fouquet's restaurant is a high class level . I suggest you should dine on this place . | mvtouring Mon Apr 21, 2008 05:27 UTC Was hoping to see a tip about Angelina's. Have been told that they serve best hot chocolate, so will try it out ;-) | VincentJJ Sat Oct 20, 2007 08:48 UTC Paris. Still 'under construction'....?
