Our second night in Paris, we decided to visit this friendly pub on Grande Blvd called O'Connner's. It was a younger crowd but everyone seemed to be having a good time so we stayed for a drink or two. Not to go into the ugly details......my friend struck up an innocent conversation with a guy named "Omar". Half Japanese/Parisan/Canadian. He is short and wears glasses.In the end he snatched her purse and we spend the rest of the trip.....dealing with credit cards, visa replacements etc.....So beware at this place....we were later told he has done this before.....and KEEP YOUR BAGS ON YOU AT ALL TIMES! It could happen anywhere. Trust me the police station is not dirty but they don't speak english.......
