I currently in the US but travel often for work and holiday. |
| | Living Wide Open I will not die and unlived life. I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire. I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me, to make me less afraid, more accessible, to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise. I choose to risk my significance, to live so that which came to me as a seed, goes on to become a blossom, and that which came to me as a blossom, goes on to become a fruit. |
A Writers Research Currently I am in the process of finishing a novel.......I will keep the story line a suprise for now. If you have an exotic dish, amazing restaurant you have visited, or a special meal in any part of the world, send me the story details. It would be very much appreciated!!!! | | | The travel nome with some Strong european cheese! |

| | Memories and Futures I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel. But I would like do to so much more, consciously. Swimming with a baby elephant in Thailand; Treating a sick woman in a hospital with walls with peeling blue paint, with the stench of rotting meat, wafting through the halls in Beijing; Standing in the Summer Palace, and knowing, that somehow I have been there before, if only in a dream; Dragging a ridiculously heavy suitcase up the metro in Paris, in the pouring rain, and seeing the yellow walls I have drempt before in an unexpected place'; Crying at the beauty of Pope John Pauls speech at the Vatican in Rome even though I don't speak Italian; A night of fighting off dangerous snakes in the jungles of Belize; Languishing in a hot springs waterfall by the ocean in Canada; Drinking Dos Equis as the sun sets and the band is playing "those cotton fields back home, in a small costal town in Mexico; Seeing an endless sunset over the Sonoran Desert. Having an intense discussion with a buddhist monk in Northern Thailand....
I still dream of deserts, and people in colors of gold and reds, shaking out dusty carpets, streets busy with vendors selling vegatables and fruits I have yet to taste and to walk in a place that mirrors my intrinsic knowing; A bike ride through the country with mountains and oceans that meet. More traveling is yet to come in time...........Even through your stories. |
