The city of manila is exotic, humid and exciting. It reminds me a lot of Bangkok. Because of what people see on CNN, they have this perception that there is a lot of danger here. In a country composed of hundreds of islands, the city proper is far away from the insurgency problem in the north. Having said that, crime can be a problem the way it is in any city. In my country, its the beaches I love the most. I've been all over the world and I always thank my lucky stars that the best beaches in the world are nearby. |
