This hotel is circa 1960's but was recently acquired and now manages by the Mercure chain. Even the beds and furnishings are also 1960s vintage although the bathroom is more modern. Buffet is mainly continental: mostly breads and pastries, cheeses, cereals, eggs or omelet but no meats whatsoever.
I would recommend this hotel to budget-seekers and those who love to shop nearby.
Unique Qualities: It is just across from Luxor temple, a block away from the only McDonald's in town as well as the souk/bazaar and riverside boardwalk. The hotel itself is in a lot with a 50-meter driveway so the area is far from the noise and horse dung odor of the street.
