I'm about to see one of the 7 New Wonders of the World: the lost city of Petra! To get there, you'd have to walk about 3 kms. to get to the most famous sight known as the Treasury where 1 of the Indiana Jones films was shot. Along the route, you pass through tall and narrow stone passageways like the one above. |

|  | Then it slowly emerged...the Treasury! It was a sight to behold. Egyptians made their temples by transporting and hauling huge stones. The builders of Petra however carved them out right from the mountain itself! Truly amazing. |
Going farther, it appeared that the people who once lived here practically carved not just a building but an entire city from the surrounding mountains. Behind us are the ancient houses made from the mountainsides. | | | Any bed & breakfast around here? |
