God Save the Queen I've been to London many times in the past years. This last trip was the first time I had been in London in October, when there are obviously less summer tourists and the weather is typically cooler than in the summer. I combined this trip with a trip to the Highlands of Scotland, so I only spend a few days in London on this occassion, but it still is a very special place to me and by far is my favorite "big" city to visit. |
High Time for Tea When in London, there is so much to do and see that it would take weeks to get a good feel of the city itself. Just ask the cab drivers about the test they have to pass to become a licenced cabbie. It's called "the Knowledge" and it sounds like a real mind bender. It seems that London residents drink two things: tea and beer. You won't see anyone slurpping on pop in London! |
