Bakery in "the old dobrich": Must try the "gevreci"

    in the very beginning of the street you will see a little bakery where they bake "gevreci" ë ..oh, they are so yummy-hot, taken right out of the oven. On the right hand side of the bakery there is a small "boza-djiinica" . Here you can eat your gevrek with a fresh made "boza" .

    1 gevrek costs 0.30lv (1$=1.6lv)

    open from very early in the morning (i think 6-7am) till 5pm

     Lovely page. Had to smile when I read the tip about gevrek. In my language the word means dead. But I am sure that gevrek is not dead at all, but a great thing to eat. Looks like german prezel. ;-)

     The gevrek sounds tasty, but I think I would try it with coffee instead of boza.
